i plugged my new 30gb to charge it,it seems to have charged but the"do not disconnect"is still flashing.i tried turning it on and off and resetting it but still no luck.what have i done?

If you are plugged into a computer go to the bottom right of the screen on the start bar and right click the little thing for connected devices. "safely remove devices."
