I started having problems with my iPod a few weeks ago. It wouldn't come up on the source list on iTunes when it was connected but after a few resets & toggles of the hold switch it seemed to be working again.
However ever since it has appeared as 'OLIVIA IP' instead of 'Olivia's iPod' as it used to say, so I knew something was wrong. Once I managed to get it syncing with iTunes again, all of the songs had been wiped from the iPod but the memory space that the songs had taken up, was still being taken up on the memory. I then reloaded all my songs back onto my iPod and decided I'd restore the iPod once I got home to solve the memory problem.
I just downloaded the lastest version of iTunes and as predicted it prompted me to restore my iPod because it was corrupted. I've clicked the restore button several times now but everytime I get an error message saying...
'There was a problem downloading the iPod software for the iPod "iPod". The requested resource was not found.'
What should I do next? I've exhausted all my own ideas...
Thanks in advance for any help anybody can offer me! ;)
