Hi,

I'm looking for an iTunes alternative that can handle podcasts. Is there any piece of software out there that does this? It also has to support the podcast menu of the iPod.

Thanks,
Pieter

Is it able to do all the iTunes stuff, including:
- Podcasts (and actually placing them into the Podcasts folder)
- Album art
- Play counts
- Change MP3 playback options (such as the EQ and 'Skip song when in shuffle mode')
- Automatically updated playlists
?

1) You can specify the directory it downloads to. (under Shoutcast Wire)
2) Yes, you will need a plug-in to view it, but it does work perfectly.
3) Yes, it keeps play counts
4) No, but you can make a playlist and take out the crap you don't want, then shuffle. It has replaygain (volume analyzing), which is like what iTunes has, but more efficient.
5)if you mean like smart playlists, yes. You right click "local media" and "make new smart view'
