Named it this as the successor of my first iPod which was called TOFU (2nd Gen 20GB). Reason? Because it was small and white. And it's also a cute, small name. Tofu Too comes about as a 'sequel' if you will. So it reads kinda like 'Tofu II', but is spelled Tofu Too, i.e., Tofu 'also'.

My first iPod (a 1st gen 5gig affair purchased they day after they were introduced) was named "Laslow Hollyfeld" after a character in the movie REAL GENIUS. It's been years, but if I remember correctly the window came up asking me what to name it and I thought "Katie's iPod" was fricking LAME. "Laslow Hollyfeld" was the first name that popped into my head. Thank god I was thinking of REAL GENIUS and not AUNTIE MAME... I'm not sure "Beauregard Jacskon Pickett-Burnside" would fit!!!!

Mine's name is Thanx2M&J in honor of my roomie and a friend from church, who got me hooked on iPods.

It would have been a green mini, to match my car and my computer's customized colors, but NO, BestBuy did not have the green mini. So the car is green, the computer icons are green, and the ipod is blue.

The car's name is Grumpy, a polite term for its actual name, which was christened one day when I was late for work and the car did not want to go in reverse gear ( I have a manual transmission) its original name was a string or cuss words that would make a sailor blush.

The computer I did not name, the guys at Totally Awesome Computers named it, and for some reason they wrote on the box "Casper" and then proceeded to enter the name on the computer. So Casper it is.

At least my mini matches my bass guitar, though...green basses are hard to find.

With the iPod mounted, right-click on the name in iTunes. It'll turn blue and you can edit the name.
