After a year of using my Nano every few days, I began to wonder if the battery life has been shortened. I usually don't run the battery very low before charging it up again. Generally I listen to two or maybe three hours between charges. Yesterday I ran the ipod nano for ten hours on a flight from the UK. The indicator went red with about two and a half hours remaining to the destination, but the ipod still worked when we pulled into the gate and I turned it off. I don't think it will need replacing anytime soon.
