I am hoping this hasn't been asked before but is there a big difference between the cx300 and the ep630. In Canada, I can get the cx300 for about $80, ep630 for about $40 and v-moda for $55. (I wish I could buy from amazon) So is it worth twice the ep630 for the cx300, and would the v-moda be a better value for $15 more then ep630? I am currently leaning to the ep630 because of price but still... v-moda is temping. So what should i go with?

I don't think you can really go wrong with any of these three. I would suggest trying them out from cheapest to most expensive. If you don't like them, return them or sell them and move on up the ladder until you find what you are looking for.

For the record, I really like my CX300's, They are just a bit weak for me on the bass side for stuff like Metallica and Rob Zombie, but they're really great with stuff like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc., and they are considered very bassy for an IEM.

Some people claim that the CX300's and EP630's are identical, just rebranded, and some claim that the CX300's sound a little better.

The CX300 and EP630 share a common body (as does the four-pole Sharp), but they do sound different.

The other phone you mention is significantly lighter.

For what it's worth, I prefer the CX300 for sound, and the other phone you mentioned for comfort.

All three are good pieces of kit, but I'd rate the CX300 top, overall, and the 630 bottom, with the second placed phone closer to the CX300 than to the 630.
