I have tried everything to get my battery to charge and it seems everytime I plug it in it is not affected. It is only 6 month old and I was just using it and the battery died cuz it was low and when I got it home I tried to charge it and nothing happened. Any advice???

Is the iPod recognized by iTunes? BTW, you didn't have to start a new thread about this, as you already had one started.

where do you have it plugged in. Some USB hubs don't have power to charge.
Try plugging it into the back of you computer and see (even if you need to unplug a printer etc for a little while to check)

Well, I hate to say it, but sometimes electronic gadgets just fail. It could be that this has happened to your iPod. Perhaps it's time to send the iPod to Apple for repair?

Maybe you could try resetting the unit.. One day my Nano just could not power on. I reset it and it worked ok. However that was not because the battery was low. It just..hung. Good luck.

just leave it pluged in for a day and see if it starts to charge then.... either that or try and borrow a wall charger and use that
if that and the reset doesn't work, u'll probably have to send it in for warrenty

Plug it in and leave it plugged in for a couple of hours. When the battery completely drains it takes awhile after plugging it in to charge before you'll get the DO NOT DISCONNECT screen to pop up.

If it hasn't come on after a couple of hours then it might be time to contact apple.
