Well my new 2 week old iPod came with the new nano headphones but I stepped on those and one of them completly stopped working, and it doesnt even look like I stepped on them...stupid Timbs...anyways, I was wondering if my warranty would cover that and I could have them replaced?
2nd question is, what are the best headphones for the Ipod, and I dont want anything super expensive. Thanks.

First, warranties cover manufacturing defects, not you stepping on them.
Second, you're going to have to define "super expensive."
I love the stupid questions that are asked on this forum.

Well it doesn't hurt to try and get them exchanged. If you are stuck paying the postage on them , it might not be a great solution. Try:
Sennheiser PX100, MX400, MX500 or CX300
v-moda "Remix M-Class"
They are all recognised for being better then the apple headphones and also offer good quality for the price. They are not the only ones and opinions may differ but all three have a good reputation.
Hope it helps...
SIME: is that the best you can come up with?

If you don't want IEMs I'd without a doubt recommend the V-Moda Remix M-Class. If you DO want IEMs, I'd recommend the CX300, never having heard any V-moda models.

If you like over-the-ear cans it'd be hard to beat the sound quality and noise isolation of a pair of Sennheiser HD280 PRO headphones.
Your question is not specific enough. Define what style headphones you prefer and a price range to get better answers.
