Hi Guys,

I have recently moved into London and because of the high outside noise levels I am having to listen to my iPod at full blast just to hear my music...

I would really like to get a pair of noise cancelling headphones. The problem is that although there is so much choice nothing really screams out at me so I would appreciate your help and advice please!!

I am currently using Sony MDR-G74SL Street Style Headphones and to be honest, as I am not really an audiophile the quality of sound is good enough for me!

I much prefer this over-the-ear 'Street Style' headphones with a neckband as I find them more confortable and also like that they stay in when I have to run to catch the tube/bus/a cab etc. Also I much prefer the way they look.

Are there any headphones with a similar Street-Style design that are noise cancelling/ noise reducing...I really don't want a set that have a headband, or are too chunky like the ones designed for flights.

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!

i knows you said no headband, well er, this has two (bear with me...)

imo, this is best headphone for iPod, better if you replace the steel cable with a copper one,
the split headband makes it very adjustable for comfort, & the whole thing clamps to your head snuggly so they always stay put. all replaceable parts.

Hi thanks for the advice, but I am afraid I am looking for something a lot less chunky and with a neckband as opposed to the headband.

I hear grado? will be making some streetstyle noise cancelling headphones soon...any news on this, confirmation/price??

thanks!!
