hello everyone! After researching a bit, i found 2 popular brands of headphones a lot of people used with a mix feeling. However, I can't seem to come up with a final judgment on which earphone is worth the money? Would i be better off buying the Ep-630 over the sony ex series? (both of these have people hating and loving them :S ) One final question is, my price range is $50 and under for a pair of good earphones, in-ear or not as long as the sound quality and durability is there. help me out thanks!

Much better choices might be the Sennheiser CX300 or the V-Moda Bass Freq. Or spend a little more and go for the Panasonic HJE70 or Sony EX90.
I'd avoid the EX51 at ALL costs

Don't buy off ebay, what you will get will be fake.
The Creative EP630 is easily the best choice of the two. The Sony's quality sucks.

CX300s cost £32.00 retail in the UK, minimum.
If you can think how someone in the UK is selling them for less than half that price, then perhaps he's legitimate.
In my experience, if a price looks too good to be true, it's probably a scam, a fake, stolen, faulty or dodgy.
He's also got quite a lot of negative and neutral feedback......

I've gone through several hundreds of his feedback, most complaints were about webcams not working and stuff... neutral were mostly shipping, no negative feed back about his earphones, i've msged about a dozen people who bought his earphones a couple months back and they've given me good feedback about his stuff... im gonna go ahead and buy it, i'll let you guys know how it goes when it gets here thanks everyone!

The vast majority of people will never know they are fakes. The one or two people who figure it out will be offered something for their "good" feedback, as has already happened many times.

Got the earbuds a week ago and have been testing it ever since, these are the real deal, sound, shape and package are exactly like that of my friend's.... If these are fakes these were uncannily well done! I must say, these are 10 times better than that of the stock buds they give you, had i known sooner i would've gotten these a LONG time ago!

Well, they are now 20.99 from amazon uk
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000E6G9RI/ref=nosim/kaufenundbe00-21
so the 14.99 is maybe not so unbelievable
(still £39.99 in the apple store though)
