About to design an IPOD TRADE site. What do you think?

Hi all,

I am considering to design a site specifically for selling and buying ipods. Some sort of half.com clone but only for IPODS and the site will be free to use.

I came up with this idea; when I tried to buy an used IPOD at a good price. I finally did but I would prefer not to go through all those unorganized classifieds where I lost my way many times.

so here is a screenshot of the site i am planning.

Any suggestions? Any comments? Any features you might wanna see?

Looks pretty cool and seems like a decent idea.. however one thing i notice is that most usually say iPods instead of IPODS. :) Looks good though.

I would expand it though to include all iPod accessories such as docks, headphones, etc. Also, you will probably want to check with Apple on using the iPod name since they have viciously gone after quite a few companies for using the trademarked name. This site used to be known as ipodlounge before it was ilounge. I do believe that the owners of this site opted to change the name on their own though rather than needing to because of Apple.

Thats a great idea! I support that idea 100%, i am alright with web design stuff etc. I would help with anything whether it is initial design moderation, or upkeep. Great idea and nice screen shot. keep the good ideas coming!

With so many ipods being sold a new trade / sell site is always welcome.

I have many a times wanted to list stuff here I want to trade for ipod but that apperantly does not fly here so bring it on and use the heatware system or make your own sell feedback / eval system.
