I recorded a couple Lost episodes awhile ago. Info states the file is around 200mb, bitrate 128, sample rate 44khz, total bitrate 652. Since then I have downloaded the newest version of itunes (don't know if this matters or not) but I recently downloaded some new shows and they take forever, and are larger in size. The last episode of Lost was 477mb for the same length of show versus the previous 200mb file. It doesn't look any better. Bit rate and sample rate same however total bit rate (don't know what this means)is 1528 (up from 652).
So why the higher mb file that takes twice as long to load when it looks the same as the smaller files? Basically an hour show takes around 1/2 hour to load. This is tedious. Any settings to speed this up?
