I have a 30b Video, newest ipod updater with itunes 7.0.1.
I can load certain songs onto my ipod, but other songs bring up the message, "Attempting to copy to the disk "CaseyJoe" failed. The disk could not be read or written to." It's not the disk; it's the music file itself.
I checked the option to update only checked songs, so when I uncheck the last song that wouldn't load and then re-sync, the ipod will continue to load songs until it comes across another corrupt file. I have no proof the file is corrupt except when I try to convert the file, my computer is unable to. I can listen to the file, so it can't be corrupt beyond all reasoning.
Any suggestions? Tips?
