Hey is there a good Microphone for the 5G ipod? I need something that I can use to record lectures at school...maybe even some recordings of singing sometimes too (nothing for professional singing...but for instance if my vocal groups have to have something memorized soon, so I record a rehearsal or something....)
Any suggestions?

That one or the Belkin TuneTalk Stereo is another option.
You can read our reviews of all of the various voice recorders that are available here (http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/reviews/review_grades/C156/).

Sweet...Thanks for the suggestions guys...
It looks like the XtremeMac is the only one that works with the 5G ipod huh? Any of you guys tried it and like it?
hmm....actually now that I'm looking at it...The battery life concerns me...only about an hour life even if it's fully charged? That's a bust. Are there any other mic's that'll give it more battery life? Or perhaps something I can get that'll keep the iPod charging while recording?

Actually, the Belkin TuneTalk Stereo (http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/ipod/review/belkin-tunetalk-stereo-for-ipod-with-video/) works just fine with the 5G iPod (and the 2G Nano, I might add). That's the one I use, and am quite happy with it, although I generally use it to record my own presentations and lectures, so I can't really say much about the range.
The Belkin also provides a pass-through for a 5-pin mini-USB charging cable, and comes with the appropriate cable to connect to either a computer's USB port or the iPod AC Adapter's USB charging connector.
