i just got my 1st ipod nano 2nd generation recently but im not quite sure if i've been doing the right thing because i still don't see itunes on my computer.

i followed the instructions and tried downloading itunes onto my computer but whenever i click on download, it will bring me to another page that says download completed but i have yet to download anything nor see anything downloading. and unlike my friend's ipod nano, mine dosen't come with a disc for installation.

when i pluck my ipod into my computer, i can see the ipod in 'my computer' but nothing else pops up.

please help me, it would be very much appreciated:o

when you go to the download page (http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/) and select "Download iTunes 7.0.1 - Free" it should prompt you to select a download destination. Does it do this?

If it has already downloaded you can search your computer for the file called iTunesSetup.exe

Go to add/remove programs and see if both iTunes & Quicktime are listed there. That'll sort out whether you have it installed.

If not, when you download iTunes you should put in your email, click the box for windows, and then be prompted with a run, save etc message. Just click run, and bob's your uncle. ;)
