Sometimes I wonder why I invest in Apple... Anyways, my iPod is once again, busted, just after overhauling the battery and LCD screen, and this time, I'm not going to bother repairing it. Dunno what happened to it, but I never want to see another iPod ever again... SO, I'm selling this little money guzzler off as spare parts.

Partially used, Microsheild for 30Gig ViPod : SOLD

Partially used battery : 20$ (Bought at 40$)

Partially used LCD screen : 30$ (Bought at 60$)

Motherboard : SOLD

Clickwheel (scratched up a little, but still very sensitive to touch) : 10$

30Gig HD : 120$ (E-mail me ASAP if the hard drive does NOT work, otherwise, the money will be spent, and it would take a long while to pay back)

Black faceplate (Scratched up lots) : 10$

Back shiny side (Also scratched up) : 15$

As soon as my camera decides to co-operate with my computer, I will upload pictures.

Thanks for looking! ~Fleet~

EDIT 10-11-06 : Some pictures now posted. Sorry for the horrible eye raping quality... I can't find the good digital camera. Will upload bit by bit as each photo is resized. Forgot to mention, the black faceplate comes with the inner framing for the LCD and Motherboard, screws as well. Also willing to haggle. Once again, thanks for looking.

OO yeah also what happened to it and what does it do. I may be interested in the HD but dont want to buy a busted one, plus 120 seems a bit steep!

Thanks and let me know

Honestly, I don't know what happened. After I bought the Microsheild case, I had kept it in there. After a week or so, it just, stopped working. Turned it on, and didn't go past the Apple logo. No sadface, no nothing.

For the LCD, I'll go as low as 20$. Front plate, 8$. Back plate, 8$.

I'm still running through a few of my friends iPods to see if my hard drive is still fully functional, and all 3 tests have worked. As soon as I get a 4th test in to be better assured of myself, I'll let you know how much for the hard drive.

You know, for future reference, that's a fairly common problem that's easy to fix without any new parts needed. It's usually just an issue of recharging and/or getting the iPod into hard-drive mode. There wasn't anything wrong with it, so the HDD is most likely just fine.

But there lies the problem. I tried my hard drive on the last iPod I wanted to test, and it gave me a sadface, but not with the hard drive initially in the iPod. I put the original HD back in, and it ran normally. I went back to the other three iPods, and my drive worked fine there, so I'm clueless and more.
