Need help loading pictures on my ipod

Ok i just bought a new ipod nano.. Ive ran into a problem i cant figure out how to load pics on my ipod.. I searched around and found same thing go to itunes then to edit at top then prefrences then click on ipod link but mine doesnt have the ipod link there???

Would like some help if anyone knows why its not there?? Thanks..

the ipod link only is selectable when the ipod is plugged in. then you will see the photo options.

the ipod is plugged in right now but still doesnt appear...
