I was having a party and was using my iPod for a music source (fantastic) and somebody spilled wine on my iPod. My question is: because the warranty has long since expired (it's a 1st generation 5GB model) should I have Apple fix it or should I just buy another one. I don't know how much they would charge to fix it and if it's say over $100 I might as well buy a new one.
Has anyone out there had to have Apple repair their iPod out of warranty?
Thanks
