View Full Version : iTunes 7 keeps resyncing "all files"....

I just upgrading to iTunes 7 and when I connect my iPod (it is a 3G) it takes FOREVER to sync even though there are only a couple of added podcasts each time..... Any sugegstions? I tried looking for similar problems in the FAQ etc but cannot find anything....

If it's rmoving and reloading the iPod contents each time you connect it then you probably need to restore the iPod and resync it. This should stop that from happening again.
If it just transferring the podcast slowly then check your connection. Are you using a 4 or 6 pin FW port?

It looks like it does not delete any files (music) from the device, however it seems to be checking all the files, then you see the two or three it is adding. Also the playlists disappear if you try to abort the sync before it completes, I have a 4 pin connector as this the size of my port in my laptop (same one for the last few years, no issue with iTunes 6 etc).

It may just be iTunes 7. Things are slower than in the previous iTunes.
