1) I am going to buy a 15 gb iPOD very soon and since no GOOD cases are out for it as of now, would it be safe to charge, transfer and play with it in the "Dont Steal Music" sleevecase? And would it properly prevent scratches from occuring?

2) Should I get the new Groove Jacket or new Vaja Case when both are available for 3rd gen ipod?

Thanks a lot guys. I know both questions are somewhat personal preference but please state your opinion!!!

Someone elese had posted using Saran Wrap..(which is what I will be doing in approx 60 mins to my new 15GB baby :-)

Seems better than the "dont steal music"..since that was very rigid...

will post tomorrow with pics of my saran wrapped delicacy.
:-)

you can also look it up in circuitcity

they are usually under PDA accessories.

That guy did a really good job with the wrap. I dont think I will be able to do anything close to that. I dont like leather cases because they take awayfrom the beauty of the iPod. This kind of case solves that issue but it doesnt protect it from falls.

I can't believe it fits, but it does - almost perfectly. I will buy a new case when it comes out, but the POS Apple Case was scratching my iPod :( ... this case keeps little Anastasia very pretty. ;)

Hehehehe.

Anyone want to buy my old Apple Case?

Saran wrap works great! make it tight, you can't even tell it's on! Also the included Apple case isn't as bad as people make it out to be; if you are worried about scratches (that come from the Apple tag in the case) just tape it down. Problem solved. But saran wrap is a great fix.

Thats what I did. I took it out at the end of the day, and my one-day-old iPod is full of tiny scratches on the front. Don't do it, it doesn't work!
