I have only purchased Mini Golf and I must say that it isn't bad. I wouldn't purchase Tetris since I already own a copy of it for my DS lite and the DS version of Tetris is way better offering online multiplayer. Mini Golf is pretty decent though but it fell short of my expectations. I thought that Mini Golf was quasi-3D but it is a true 2D game. Eh, it isn't a bad way to spend 10 minutes.

I'd get Tetris, but I don't have a credit card. :c
Is there any other way to pay for games? Do those pre-paid cards work?

Yes, pre-paid iTunes Store cards will work for any content on the iTunes Store, not just music. Basically, you're just charging up your iTunes Store account with a credit amount that you can spend pretty much however you like.

Mini-golf :) Been wanting to buy it for a couple of days now, but I think 4.99 is a bit much for a game on the ipod. Ill probably end up buying it though ;)

I bought the whole pack the day that they were released, and to be fair, Mini-Golf is probably the single game I've played the most, with Texas Hold-Em a close second.
Vortex and Zuma are pretty good as well, and compliment the click wheel interface nicely.
I find Pac-Man and Bejeweled a little awkward to use with the click wheel, and I haven't really tried the others at all.

Don't rule out texas holdem. It is addictive.

Don't I still need to enter credit card information if I want to set up an account?

No, if you're using a gift card or gift certificate, simply go to the iTunes Store and click the "Gift Cards" link (for Gift Cards) or the "Buy & Redeem" link (for Gift Certificates).
You will start by entering the code on your card, and then it will take you through setting up a new account, with a credit of the amount of the gift card/certificate that you can then use to purchase games or whatever else.

Zuma's a worthwhile buy; I'm even thinking about paying the $20 to get it on my Mac. Vortex works well with the interface, but it's not the best game by any stretch of the imagination; I'm a little miffed I paid £4 for it, but hey, it's not the end of the world (would be worth the £2.50/$5 though). I think Texas Hold 'em is next on my list, and maybe Tetris and Bejewled (but I'm a bit anxious about the controls).

Sick! :D
I'll be getting Tetris then. What's another good game? I can get 2 with a $15 iTunes card. :3

in my opinion i wouldn't get any of them, i'm not a big fan of those games and it's just a waste of money.
yet again, it's just my opinion.

I own many ipod games, including Bejeweled, Zuma, Block Breaker Deluxe, Tetris, Phase and sonic..
My Personal Favorite is Block Breaker Deluxe - By far. I Highly recommend it, it may seem boring from the concept (break out or brick) But i assure you that it is full of action..
If you want something else try Zuma or Tetris.. You can play both of them on the web for free and they both work great with the ipod clickwheel.
Good luck whatever your decision! ;)

I have almost all games offered by the iTunes Store. The only ones I don't have are Mini Golf, Tetris, Lost, and the Kaplan SAT games. I also have the free demos of Ms. Pac-Man and Vortex (Of course, the full versions superseded those). I can't believe nobody has mentioned Phase yet. But then again, this thread is almost two years old. But still, Phase! Phase! Phase!
