Hi all,
I've got a 30gb 3rd Gen iPod that I'm running on a PC with Win XP Professional. I was using Music Match to synch with the iPod (mainly because I'm lazy and it seemed to be doing the job).
My iPod was running fine with 2.0.1 installed on it. However, I downloaded and installed 2.1 (on the PC only) and now when I plug in the iPod it is not recognised.
It still connects as an external drive but neither iPod Manager nor MM accept that it exists anymore. So apart from anything else I can't even get the new 2.1 update onto the iPod (which from other posts that I've read is probably a good thing!)
Is anyone having the same problem? And does anyone know a good way of reversing the process so that I can connect it again.
I have already tried reinstalling the iPod and MM software but to no avail.
Thanks,
Marv
