Im planning on buying a new car stereo with a usb port so i cn play my ipod thru it. But my concern is, when i install the new stereo, will i loose control of it thru the sontrols on the side of the steering wheel?
I have a peugout 206 S if that helps.
Thanks for any help

I think that answer you your question is probably yes, unless your new stereo comes with a harness that totally replicates the cabling of the 206 head unit.

Ehhh... having a USB port does not automatically mean u can use an iPod on it. I suggest reading through this forum on info about that USB port. There are two basic type hookups, iPod control, or head control. Obviously for wheel control, the head has to do this first. As for using the 206's stock controls, as long as the new head is fully compatible with it.

Oh OK, it if says it works for the Shuffle, go for it. Silly me, I always assume people are talking about the bigger Pods.
