After receiving my ipod armor for my 3g ipod, i was quite disappointed to find out that the case is designed for a
2G pod, but you can put a 3g one in it. Matias advertises that it 'fits' all of the different ipods, when in reailty, it fits the 2g the best.
The 3g ipod is subject to scratches on the top of it, due to the plastic structure on top of the case, and is also subject to sliding back and forth while within the case (since the 2g ipod is longer, the 3g ipod has about half a centimeter to slide around).
I fixed this problem by applying Dr. Scholl's Moleskin, or also know as Molefoam padding, to all of the parts of the plastic structure that touch my ipod while in the case. It makes for a tight and sturdy fit, and both the scratches and sliding have stopped.
Moleskin can be purchased at your local grocery store for about 3 dollars, it includes 3, 3" by 3.5" sheets of it, although youll only end up needing about one square inch, I find that it is worth it.
