93.5 Toyota Supra stock stereo question?

I want to hardwire my 3rd gen 20gig Ipod to my car stereo because I'm not satisfied with the cassette adapter sound quality. Now I know if I had a cd changer option with my stock unit it might be possible. Does anyone know if that model year Supra had that option or where to find out? If it doesnt, are there any other options with the stock stereo besides the radio transmitter? I'm trying to avoid installing an aftermarket stereo because I'm rather satisfied with the stock one and because its a large unit, I don't want any holes or gaps in the dash.
