ok ive got a few questions

1.i had to uninstall the musicmatch plugin because i hated how it loaded up the ipod applet when i started music match. i find this unacceptable as i use musicmatch for listening to music too and not just for ipod. but the thing is i liked the program it put in the taskbar to unmount the ipod. and since i havnt found another simliar stand alone program and unmounting by going into itunes is a pain i was wondering if there is any way i could somehow isolate thi part of the musicmatch ipod plugin but stop it from loading the ipod applet when i start musicmatch.

2.could i really be doing dammage by just yanking my ipod out the dock without umounting. i mean if im not using the thing in any programs then surely its no going to currupt anything if theres no interaction going on between the ipod and my computer

3.also does anyone know why i get an i/o error when i try to sync my ipod in ephpod? i can load files with no problem using drag n drop in ephpod i just cant sync. im not gonna use ipod sync because all my files that arnt on the pc too will get deleted =/

4.also are there any programs for windows that will allow me to get around the limit in text files. 200 words is it? ive seen programs for mac but not windows

5.and finally is there any chance of there ever being at least the option to be able to delete files on the ipod from browsing the ipod itself, this could be very useful, would it even be possible?

thanks

1. Better ask in the MMJB forum. I have a feeling that there is a check box.
2. Commonly it's safe if you have no activities. However, Windows can have something to write in cache which should be flushed, so a certain risk is here, unless you have a backup iTunesDB.
3.
4.
5. It looks like the current firmware doesn't support it. I think a problem that after deleting a file, iTunesDB should be updated, but it's a bit complex operation for firmware.

1. ask mmjb guys
2. There have been report of ipods completely crashing because of doing things like that. Its your chance
3. ask ephpod guys
4. better chance of that coming out for the ipod on the 4th gen rather than any new firmware versions
