Just received my Lajo/Xskn Ice eXo2 via DHL today, and it is brilliant. Absolutely no problems putting it on the iPod, working the buttons, and admiring the precision and sleekness of its design.
The iShade, on the other hand, is vexing me a bit. Here are my issues:
1. I can't seem to get rid of a small grey air bubble/blob in a corner of the iShade. I've tried lifting it up and 'reseating' it to no avail.
2. The iShade appears to be slightly chipped on one of the long edges -- surprising given that it came in its own protective package.
Any thoughts on the matter, o wise iPodloungers?
From what I have read the air bubble can be enticed out by some shuggling of the iShade - read this (http://ipodlounge.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=82645&highlight=iShade+bubble#post82645) - the "chip" could be a manufacturing thing, where they break the iShade off the moulding sprue?

1. You can keep working on it and try some tricks, but I've found some people just can't get them on without the bubbles. Some of my shades are better about this than others.
2. I have that little imperfection on all 9 of my iShades.
Your letters have really been helpful and they will lead to the perfect iShade. It seems the majority like the flexible TPU material that iShades is made from and the way that they naturally cling to your iPod. There is a solution to the wet mark and I am testing it here, once it is perfect I will introduce it. The water mark you are getting is the TPU material coming in contact with your iPod screen and then because of the soft smooth surface of the TPU it acts like a suction cup and prevents air from getting in between the screen protector and your iPod. The screen protector is design to be concaved on the inside to put away from your ipod screen and prevent this but it seems as though it is not enough. I would suggest to use it in the meantime because if offers excellent protection. You can try this to help you resolve the problem, wash your iShade and wipe your iPod screen, once they are completely dry place your screen protector and only apply pressure on the edges of the protector. I have tested that method here and it works and I also tested pushing on the center of the ishade and letting it sit and after a while the watermark will disappear. Bottom line is that it needs to be fixed so that it does not require a rocket scientist to put it on and that is what we are working on here.
