broken ipod for sale 30gb

my wife dropped in on the floor and it landed on the dog bowl full of water.screen lights up when connected but you hear a sound as if the battery was dying. if anybody can either suggest a fix if not the i will sell it for best offer

If it's just water then you can take it apart, let it dry and put it back together. You can and probably should use a liquid called contact cleaner (by CRC and others I think) that comes in a spray can. It cleans electonics equipment without leaving residue. Give it a shot.

if it is broken what kinds of things can u use it for now>
can it be fixed...wouldnt the battery be f'd if it was in water?

I guess it would just be used as a salvage unit and any parts that could possible work would be tested and then used in other units if they worked!
