So How are you passing the time?

The way I am passing the time is just coming back to read the forums, rip more CDs, look at pictures, play with the EphPOD software and organise my music..even though it's all organised, playlists for every album etc..

Im passing the time by telling everyone i know and literally counting the second till xmas...(see my clock post)

Basically same as you, except I can't play with ephPod because it asks me to list my iPod drive. I assume you just used C: or something similar instead?

I installed one of my spare hard drives in....and made that the iPod drive.

yeah it's hard to wait. I've got an older mp3player but its just not the same :( I want my Ipod now and not in 456 hours 1 minute and 2 Seconds grrr
I try not to think about it but i guess the moment i stop thinking about the ipod is the moment I stop thinking anyway.
I want my ipod or at least a time-machine to travel to the pod :)

i got my christmas iPod early!! :D wee... but i can't use it cuz windowsXP refuses to recognise it and the iPod can't start up even after a 4 hour battery charge... so now i'm sitting and waiting for something or someone to help me.

one note of advice: don't let anyone near you when you open the iPod box or someone might want to throw it around...

i'm ripping all of my cd's (200+) onto my computer, listening to some jet (awesome band, by the way), going to hockey every day, and being way too occupied with school now that finals are just around the corner.

Ha, already have all my cd's loaded, FireWire card installed today. Music ready to load. Freinds, School since exams are next week. Guitar (acoustic for me). Hockey, and tennis. Great music of course, and recooping after the copeland concert...that explains it.

oh yeah, forgot about semester finals-they're a #####. Also, a week before finals, my Euro History teacher assigns a GIANT PROJECT!! so most of my time is dedicated to that at the moment.

Fixing a ton of ID3 tags, rechecking music files...renaming...ripping cds....downloading more music....transferring music to my ipod computer from other computers....buying a case....worying about if my case (Contour Showcase) will hinder ipods beauty.....

It's coming by UPS as I type. Too bad there was a problem with the shipping so I had to call the Apple Store and now I don't have a tracking number to track the shipment with.

Oh well.

I have about 2,000 mp3's so this is my process for each song

Song:
Check for Album/Title/Artist Correctness
Check to make sure genre is correct
Check to make sure song is not incomplete

2,000 TIMES....
