PLZ HELP!!!! ipod has no power, wont charge

ok, my ipod's battery is dead from use but when i plug it in to charge it like i would normaly, firts the sign for the low battery comes on for like a half a second then this

the thing is it stays exactly like this doesn't charge or nothin, i tried all the reset things and stuff, when i reset it it goes back to the low battery sign thenback to this

i dont know what to do pls sombody help me

how long do you leave it to charge?

Apple says it can take at least 30 minutes before it starts to charge so leave the ipod charging for at least 2-3 hours and check again.

i left it charging from 11 at night to 930 in the morning and my computer doesn't sleep and nothing changed

Yes i have the exact same problem and don't know what to do, does that mean once the battery is dead you cant even use it as an extenal HDD?

plus my ipod is only 5 months old??

menace#8 if you find out whats wrong some other way please let me know how.

If it's only 5 months old, return it to Apple. There is a 1 year warranty on it.
