Got these with my Beosound MP3 player, the build quality is amazing, good strong cables. The movement in the arms is swiss watch mechanism smooth and they weigh nothing.
They are also very comfortable , they can be adjusted in 3 places allowing a perfect fit that wont fall out whilst running.
A lot of people have complained about lack of bass on these earphones, they obviously had a bad fit. When these are placed correctly in the ears they produce a tight , smooth bass that isnt boomy but very very precise.
The mids and highs are SOOO detailed on these earphones that others i have compaired seem so muddy, i have tested against my other earphones - cx300s , ex71s , px100/200 and philips she9500.
All i can say is that the px100s are the closest in quality followed by the cx300s the rest are not in the same ballpark.
I am also surprised by how much sound they block when fitted correctly, better than Philips she9500 but not as good as cx300.
Word of warning - do not buy cheap imitations from ebay, they can be spotted by looking at the bottom of the arcs, they should be black - fakes are silver , also the writing should be black.
I bought a pair out of curiosity , while they are by no means the worst i have heard the build quality is poor - movement is loose and the sound is comparable to stock ipod earphones (which lots of folk here like).
I give these 8/10 - highly recommended.
