Transferring music.

Hi
Just got myself a new computer as the old one died. I have loads of music on my ipod that I don't want to lose, but havent been able to transfer my music files over from my old computer cos it doesnt work.
I have heard that there is software that you can download to get the songs from your ipod to itunes. Anyone got any links? Also, will I have to register my ipod to my new computer?

Don't forget that most of the time you can take the hard drive from the old computer and put it in as a second hard drive in the new computer and transfer the files pretty quickly. Of course if the old system doesn't work due to bad hard drive, this won't work.

yeah had to get a new comp cos the old HD was messed up...
