Hey guys..anybody out there!!! I need some advice!! I'm worried about using the iPod as I won't be able to use it in 2 computers. I cannot escape this situation as I've already had an iPod with me and started using it. My only concern is when I get my laptop in the event of me going to overseas and install iTunes in that laptop. Should I update my iPod using the iTunes in my laptop, then I have to erase all the songs that I've uploaded now. I know that this is Apple's policy to help curb piracy, but is there any way to override or at least overcome this problem? I'd really appreciate your advice, all you ipod pro's out there!!

Hi, and welcome to iLounge!

It actually isn't part of their policy to curb piracy, but rather to keep your iPod synced with one library. You can use "Manually update checked songs and playlists" to manually put in and remove songs rather than automatically syncing it. You can find this option in Preferences. You can also download the songs from your iPod to that computer so you don't have to completely erase all your songs and start from scratch. You can find a link for that in my signature.

One more question, can I copy all the songs in my iTunes folder located in My Music file into my new laptop? This would definitely solve the problem of re-installing all my songs into my new laptop right?
