Error message (-69)

I have an iPod 60gb. I have a music library with 38gb (about 8300 songs) of music on it. Each time I try to update the iPod i get an error message saying:

"Attempting to copy to disk failed. An unknown error (-69) occurred"

Does anyone know what this means? About half the songs are transferred before this happens (more than once). I have tried resetting and restoring but nothing helps.

Try transferring the songs again and look in the iTunes window while the songs are transferring to see what song it gets stuck on. Then go into the main libray and uncheck this song. Then right click on the iPod and select 'update'. If it happens again just do the same thing again until the songs all transfer to the iPod except the ones that you've unchecked.

Then reimport the unchecked songs from the source CD and delete the unchecked ones. These songs are probably the ones causing the problem because they are corrupt.
