Is it possible to configure itunes to only autosync downloaded podcasts to the ipod, but nothing else? Because right now, if I delete the songs that are on the computer hard-drive, they will also be deleted on the ipod when I sync my podcasts. Is there a way to "protect" the songs on the ipod from being deleted, without turning off the auto-sync feature?
Second question : I'm going to install a new harddisk in my computer, and reinstall winxp onto that harddisk (C Drive). My itunes library will still be kept in my old harddisk (D Drive). After reinstalling itunes on Cdrive, should I let it scan D drive to rebuild the library or is there a better way to transfer my old library over to the new drive? What will happen to my subscribed podcasts? Do I need to subscribe to them again, and where will the already downloaded podcasts be placed in the "new" itunes?
