E3C Sleeves?

I probably sound dumb, but how do I get the sleeves off of the E3C to replace them with the foam ones? I have tried pulling them off, but they seem stuck. Can someone help please? Thanks a lot,

just pull em off? don't apply too much pressure on the stem

use fingernails, not fingerpads

Yeah, I'm kinda cautious with a $200 pair of equipment, but I just twisted it and it slided off. Thanks for your help.
