My girlfriend dropped my 60 gb ipod in water while washing dishes.I have not opened it .It did power on but now its dead peroid.What suggestions can you offer in repair? or is it at a point where i should sell it for parts and try to recover some of my loss? I purchased this from a pawn shop because they gave me a good deal. Can anybody please advise me/Thank you in advance.

First rule: if you get any electronic device wet, DO NOT TURN IT ON. Wait until it is completely, 100% dry first. By turning it on, you may have caused a fatal short. You may not be able to sell it for parts as you don't know what you fried. You can send it to a repair service and they can tell you what would need to be replaced, but that's the best I could offer you for advice on here.
