Hi everybody!
I've got a problem with my Sony earphones. One of them doesn't produce a sound. I've been wondering whether something is wrong with the earphones or a sound card? Could anybody give me advice?

Two suggestions, already posted here (http://forums.ilounge.com/showthread.php?t=169390):
1. Try different headphones.
2. Make sure the jack is inserted snugly.
If you happen to work for the company linked in your sig --> read the forum policy (http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/ilounge/forumpolicy/).
Edit:
Edited to remove links. HB

I found that the left earbud on my Panasonic HJE50s stopped working after just 6 months of use. I think that the stupid lengths of cord resulted in excessive stress in the shorter (left) side, causing the wire to become damaged.
Unfortunately, I brought them from eBay and the seller seems to be ignoring my requests for a refund or replacement.
But I have just got some Sennheiser CX300s which sound much better now (and have sensible cord lengths!).
