I just bought the new Xtrememac deluxe iPod case with the Xtrasecure Belt Clip...I absolutely love this case. it's a leather folio case where you slip your ipod thru this sturdy spring-steel frame...the leather is very soft and fine quality with a soft felt interior lining that will protect your pod from any scratches...You can also recharge your ipod without taking it out of the case that has an opening for the 30 pin port....These cases were introduced with the older ipod models and i was wondering when they were going to release them for the newer models and now they are finally here!!! Take it from me...This case is very reliable and will do the job..i am very satisfied with this case and its sleek and and elegant design will please any ipod elitist like myself :D

I am glad you are pleased with your Xtrememac case - they are pretty well made. I would caution against charging it while it is in the case though. Apple recommend removing the iPod from its case before recharging.

I had an XtremeMac case for my 1st Gen, but now I'm stuck on iSkins. However, I wanted to share that I saw this new 3rd Gen XtremeMac case at my local Apple Store the other day. It was nice to be able to look at it and feel it and see how they did it. I guess I'd been expecting the sides to be stiff - like the Vaja cases. They're actually very soft leather that would be held against the front by the strong U of steel wire that sits along the edges of the front. Go take a look at the pictures on their site if this doesn't make sense - sorry if I didn't do a great job explaining it.

Glad you're happy! It's definitely a classy looking case.

I heard they are great cases because they absorb alot of shock if dropped, but alot of people complain that they are too bulky and sometimes the glue from the sportsuits sometimes peels off.

I was contemplating btwn their deluxe sportsuit with the folio cover or the xtrememac deluxe iPod case...The Xtrememac iPod case is slightly padded too (which gives it the added protection), but it still make's the iPod look slimline...I am happy with my decision for picking the xtrememac iPod case..

i had the marware convertible. significant amounts of the glue did come off and adhear to the bottom front curve of the ipod. it came off easy enough, but still, its production is obviously not very refined yet. my other complaints include the fit (you have to pull it around to get the holes lined up, and they tend not to stay that way), the mild scratching (though everything scratches ipods), and the bulk (particularly with the convertible cover). i ended up with an xksn exo2, which will probably be replaced by an exo3 one of these days. one of the ipod's great features is its styling, and the xksns preserve that styling more than most cases. i've got my sights on the new xtrememac sportwrap now as well.
