I'm using iTunes library Manager to maintain 3 libraries: one with a lower bitrate (160) for my ipod, a higher bitrate (320) library for airtunes, and one that has both together.

I found that when I used the tips suggested at...
iTunes: Moving your iTunes Music folder
namely, changing the location and consolidating that only one set of the songs (320 bitrate) copied to the new drive.
Any ideas how to get all the libraries to copy over?

Would it work to manually copy the iTunes folder over, delete the two database files from my iMac, and then import?

Thanks,

John

When using iTunes Library Manager you must regard each loaded library as its own entity. AS far as iTunes is concerned, other libraries do not exist (until one is loaded). Remember, iTLM only saves database files and preferences...it doesn't care where your audio files are.

Load a library, copy the Music folder it points to (the "designated" Music folder) to where you want it, tell iTunes where it is in Preferences, Cosolidate Library, as Apple suggests. THEN use iTunes Library Manager to Save that Library.

If, however, your iTunes Library Manager libraries all point to the same Music folder, you will have to be a bit more careful. After moving the first library and Saving it, you will then have to load each of the other libraries and tell each of them where you have moved the library.
