i just got a 5 gig ipod, and i want a case for it. after all the debating, which is the best case? is it good to have something that folds over the ipod, or open like the isee? any input on what kinds of cases are the best would be awesome

also, where d'ya keep your headphones while usin a ski or otha case, like when its not on and your not listenin......thanks
Its debatable which is best. It really depends on how you want to use it.
I keep my headphones and iPod in my pocket when not in use.

Asking a question about what is the "best" usually starts a flame war. It's usually better to qualify your question a bit.
Since you appear to be "a swimmer", you might like a neoprene variety (if such a thing even exists) for waterproofness. Alternately, if you are worried about impact, check this out:
