I've bought these iems and like them, however I have one question - the cord connecting the right ear to the main cord is about 3 times as long as the cord coming from the left ear... is this a fault with the specific pair I have? As I can't work out why they would be like this, as it adds all the weight from the cord onto the right ear one rather than having two cords of equal length to balance the load.
Thanks

They are meant to be like that. The long cord goes round your head to your right ear. And the short one gos direct. So it kind of weighs on your shoulders. I prefer it that way, but it people like them equal.

Thanks for the reply.
thought people might appreciate a mini review of these... I've had them for 5 days or so now and at the moment, cannot recommend them. They have great sound quality but I find the design severely lacking. First off, the 'adjustable length' of the headphone cord is nice in theory but badly executed. The default length of the headphone cord stretches about 2/3 down my chest (and I'm pretty short), so I cannot see who would want to use the cord at this length unless you are wearing a shirt with a top pocket to put your ipod in. Otherwise this length is pretty useless as it won't stretch to, say, an ipod clipped onto your belt or in your pocket.
This means that you have to attach a second cable to the first, which is where the big problems come in. This adds quite a bit of weight on the cord and means any head movement is tugging at the earbuds, pulling them out. I've found walking I constantly have to keep pushing the earbuds back in because of the weight pulling them out. Exercising (gym) with this is much worse as you're doing much more movement. This problem is compounded by the extra length of the right earbud cable compared to the left, meaning that ALL the weight is pushed onto the shorter cable/earbud, making the pulling-out even easier. Currently I feel like I've wasted
What about some way of clipping the upper wire to your shirt?

Cord length is perfect when used with Apple remote control, which can be clipped to clothing. This also helps with any micronics. Walk a mile from work and back each day and have not experienced earphones dropping out. If not using remote I used an old clip from a cellphone hands free headphone, which is attached just below the extension lead socket and then clipped to clothing. As the previous poster stated these phones have great sound and therefore in my opinion it is well worth the minor problems.
Of course you could always borrow a hairgrip of either your wife or nick one off the girlfriend or try using a paperclip - they can alll be used as either permenant or temporary low cost clothing clips.

Mrteatime hates the damn cord extension.
The Sony ex71 has the same extension, and I had all of the same problems with it, which is why instead of the HJE70, I opted for the Audio Technica ATH-CK7's instead. They go up over your ears, and behind your neck, so all pulling is transferred to the top of your ears instead of on the earbuds. They have a normal-length cord as well.
With my ex71's I'd just usually pin the extra cord to my shirt while exercising.
