I woke up this morning to find some minor hairline sratches on my less-than-a-month old Ipod and I was quite upset. I didn't notice them when I gentley pulled my Ipod out of the Mareware Sportsuit Covertible case I have to put it on charge. After doing some digging on the old forums, it looks like Brasso polish is the best thing to get these sratches out.
I had a couple of questions:
1) What should you use to apply the Brasso polish? (ie. old tshirt, paper towel)?? I heard a lint free cloth would work well ... like a cloth to clean eyeglasses.
2) How much of the polish should you apply?? (ie. small, medium, lots?)
3) I've read that you have to work pretty consistently at "buffing" out the scratches. How much pressure should you apply so that the sractches come out, and there isn't the "cloud" effect left over the LCD screen.
4) Is there a better product out there than Brasso?
Thanks
Derek
