Hey guys, umm... I'm kinda new here... >_<, lol.

Anyways, my iPod's headphones (the official one from Apple) broke a couple of days ago; I'm gonna talk to Apple to try to see if my warranty covers a replacement for the headphones. But in the mean time, just in case it doesn't... can anybody reccomend me some nice, clean, and high quality head/ear phones? Somewhere around $50... >_<.

Sony ER-71s (~$30) or Shure E2Cs (~$60)...

NO NO NO, neither of those.

The EX71s are dreadful, muddy crap, and the E2Cs are mediocre and uncomfortable.

In descending order of price, I'd shortlist the Ultimate Ears SuperFi 5EB, Panasonic HJE70, Sennheiser CX300, and the V-Moda Bass Freq

And the pro is better than the EB.
I'd suggest the Koss ksc 75 for $20. These are clip ons. Yes its cheap but its damn good for the money. If I were you I'd get the Grado SR-60 for $69. Those are headphones just to let you know.
