All in all I?m fairly happy with my iSkin Exo (never too sure what it?s called!). However, the main problem for me is that the jack plug from my Dension ICE link cable (for connecting in the car) is larger than the hole provided. I attempted to cut the hole, with a new sharp blade, to make it larger, but I made a right pig?s ear of it. Since I also find the opening for the hold button too small, I was thinking about cutting one large hole in the top of the case, effectively joining the two holes together, and tidyint up the mess I've made. Has anyone attempted this, and if so any tips on how to cut in straight lines? Also, would this weaken the design, causing the case to become floppy at the top?

I haven't cut that, but I have made a few other cuts. Firtsly I cut the loop off of the side. After that I cut the two stubs off of the botton (the one that raises it off of the table), and then I cut off where the belt clip connects. I removed the metal plate, and cut the excess silicone off. To cut straight, I just do it very lightly and in constant motion. So do it slowly and carefully, and it will look good.

I cut the entire top off mine in order to use the iTrip. The way I did it was hold a ruler and push down on the whole case so that i could cut a straight line through both sides at once with a new exacto knife. Worked perfectly, just make sure you only pinch a small amount outside of the ruler at first... you don't want to cut too much off.

You can cut a bigger whole in the top. It will become slightly more flimsy, but it should be fine. I cut mine for an iTrip too, but I did it by eye. Wish I would have thought of the ruler trick. It doesn't look bad at all with the iTrip on, but you can tell it was a hack job with it off. Any word on an upcoming xSkn/iSkin/Exo that is iTrip friendly?
