i cant wear normal earbuds because the right bud never can fit.. do the in ear headphones just feel like earplugs or what?

oem's usually come with three tips, small, medium, and large
iem's come with a much larger spectrum of tips, it varies from company to company

IEM phones will usually come with five different tips- small, medium, large, multi-flange, and foamies.
The foamies will feel the most like earplugs and adjust the best for individual ears. Otherwise, you can put different tips on each side to get the best fit.
well the thing about IEMs is that you cant try them on before you buy, i would best recommand you buy cans and not IEMs since even the simplest earbuds wont fit your ear. you buy some high class ones that is specially designed for your ears but overall id recommand you get some normal cans.
