I think we must help these companies bring forth the perfect belt clip. Calling all geeks, engineers, scientist, and scholars. I ask the ? can it be done. Since I am not one of those, I'll just watch.

This is an interesting topic, I am working on a total of 4 belt clips right now and I don't know if I can come up one clip to meet all needs. I feel you need a belt clip for people involved in active sports, a clip that can be used as a car or bike mount, one that can be use for office use and a clip for casual wear. I have thought of some very complex clips that turn and fold but then I have pulled back because I know that the more moving parts you have the more problems you can run into. I am sure once I finish these clips I will still need to make another.
Multidapt Clip System as used by Marware seems to be a pretty versatile clip system.
Leather Swivel Kit, Bike Holder, Car Holder, Lanyard, Swivel Clip - seems to be all an iPod user needs? It's already out there - you just have to buy the right case!

Its not just Marware who uses that ultra-clip system, my Sony Clie aftermarket case has the same clip. I loved it on my G2 CEO Glove too, the lanyard and car mount are great. Now if only Lajo could somehow get something a bit more secure and the right diameter to fit the ultra-clip, I'd be happy ;)
