Yeah, I havn't been here in a while.
But;
I'm almost crying right now.
Apple has screwed me over.
This story starts as of 10 minutes ago:
When I had the awesome idea of updating my 3rd Gen's Firmware.
Download.Install.Restart.
I look at my Battery Meter, see 2 Bars (Pixel lines, really - you get what I mean), think 'Thats Plenty'
Plug in USB, Hit Update.
Not even a second later..
BANG ''Firmware Update Failed - Disk Write Error"
At this point I'm thinking; 'Uhh...Okay?"
Look down at my iPod to see the Low Battery Message.
RUN down to my bedroom and plug into the Power, to see a Loop of Folders with Exclamation marks.
I immediatey put the iPod in Disk Mode and plug in the Charger (Which is now located under my desk)
Can you understand my anger?
1) I have to restore it, losing all of my music (some of which isn't on my PC anymore)
2) If that doesn't work, I have to SEND it into Apple, and PAY to get it fixed, that their ####TY PROGRAM caused. In all fairness, shouldn't it have something to detect whether the battery is sufficient for an Update?
Either way, I lose money:
1) I lose music that I have to PAY for again.
or
2) I have to PAY for Repairs.
or
3) I have to PAY for a new iPod.
GRRRR!
