Old Ipod Updates

Hi All,

Just going through my "add or remove programs" and noticed heaps of old ipod updates in there:

Ipod for Windows - 2005-02-22 - 119mb
Ipod for Windows - 2005-03-23 - 79mb
Ipod for Windows - 2005-10-12 - 184mb
Ipod for Windows - 2006-023-23 - 234mb
Ipod update 2004-04-28 - 14mb
Ipod updater 2004-08-06 - 18mb

Does any one know if I am able to remove these old updates?
And if I can... will I recover the 500mb or so they are said to be using?

I don't know a lot about these updates but I would assume (perhaps incorrectly) that subsequent updates would be cumulative, incorporating previous updates, so old updates could be erased, but I'm not sure about this. Bottom line is I've also got year-old updates for ipod for windows eating up up to half a gig of my harddrive that I've love to get rid of- anyone know if this is possible?
