I stumbled across these on the internet:

http://www.foofshop.com/

and was wondering if any of you have these. i love the idea because:

-nice, SOFT sleeve in cool fabrics and colors
-will not scratch the ipod
-i HATE silicon skins like the iSkin and other stuff like that, they just make the iPod all ugly and bulky and lint magnets. i much prefer sleeves because you can really enjoy the coolness of the ipod's looks. whats the point of keeping your ipod scratchless if you cant even enjoy what it looks like without scratches?
-handmade and all individually tested for quality
-Australian (i love Australia/Australians, even though I've never even been there... but i love Claire on LOST)
-supporting a small business with a unique purpose (more unique than all of these copycat iPod accessory manufacturers)
-very unique, will stand out amongst other cases (in a good way)

so if any of you have these (or the foofbag for your laptop), i'd love to hear your 2 cents on the topic

they're different and quirky!

i got the origami kuro, but you have to understand that they are not as protective as many of the other cases out there - it really is basic protection for inside a pocket or bag.

well made though, but they can slide out quite easily.

I'm a relatively recent convert to the Foofpod, having tried out a few hard cases for my 5G. Including shipping, they only come to just over

hmmm... well now im thinking that a bestskinsever (aka BSE, same thing as invisibleshield) and a foofpod would be a good solution... however i just learned that the BSE has a somewhat rubbery texture so im not sure how well the iPod would slide in and out of the foofpod...

anybody have any insight on the situation?

The BSE does an unusual texture to it, I have trouble sliding it in/out of the orginal slip case that came with the iPod, but slides in/out of the hardcase I have without out too many problems, I guess it depends on whether the foof is a tight fit or a little loose, if it is on the loose slide, I would guess it would slide in/out ok.

Yeah, I got a sleeve from a previous DAP and it doesn't slide as well because of the BSE.

Yeah, I have three of them for my black 5g 60 Gb iPod - "La Nuit", "Le Vert" and a blue striped that is no longer available.

I first saw the foofs in a Mac store, when I was in dire need of some scratch protection..
I am using the FM radio remote in order not to have to slide the iPod in and out all the time and I really like the way I can wind up the cables around it.
Got in fact so used to winding the cables that way, that I couldn't get used to a hard case for the pod that I tried later.

IMHO it is the best way between 'going naked' without any scratch protection and doing it the hard transparent casing way.
